Gospel choir ‘brighten the morning’ for Yorkshire commuters!

Gospel singers, Souls to Prophecy ‘belt out’ classic hits by Van Halen and Take That at Sheffield railway station in an effort to boost the mood of the cities commuters.

According to new research commissioned by juice company Tropicana, 51 per cent of people in the country believe listening to music improves their state of mind and makes them happier in the morning.

The study also found that the top five songs to improve people’s mood were Take That’s recent hit Greatest Day, followed by Stairway to Heaven, Dancing Queen by Abba, Ce Ce Peniston’s Finally and Van Halen’s Jump. As a result, the singers chose to perform those top five songs during their early-morning performance.
